Summer Game Fest Presentation Highlights

Hello all! I hope you are all doing great. Sorry for the silence. I just haven’t had anything worth writing on this blog. Now, I am back to talk about some games, so if that’s your thing then you’ll want to stick around here for the next few weeks. The past few weeks have been great for gaming. We have had many games reveals and presentations, and I want to talk about just some of my favourites from each different showcase, otherwise, we will be here forever if I was to speak about all of them.

We will start with the Summer Game Fest Presentation, which was held on June 9 2022. There were a lot of game reveals and trailers, so we’ll just talk about some of my favourites. So, sit back, relax and enjoy!

The Callisto Protocol

The Callisto Protocol is a survival horror game developed by Striking Distance Studios and published by Krafton. It is set in a prison colony on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in 2320. The creative team is led by Glen Schofield, one of the creators of the legendary Dead Space series by Visceral Games, and it shows in The Callisto Protocol. It wears its inspiration on its sleeve and is seen as a spiritual successor to the Dead Space franchise. It looks creepy and eerie, and while I may not play it, it definitely was a highlight.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II (2022) is the sequel to Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019). Although I still haven’t played the first one, this sequel, published by Activision, looks to be an improvement over its predecessor.

Flashback 2

To be honest, I don’t really know much about this game, except that it’s a returning franchise from thirty years ago. Wow. Flashback 2 is developed by Microids and although the trailer did not show much, it has a cool Sci-Fi, Cyberpunk aesthetic to it, which I like.

Fort Solis

Fort Solis is an Indie, Sci-Fi game set on Mars. It follows an engineer named Jack Leary who is stationed on Fort Solis when some weird stuff begins to happen. I love everything space-related, so I’m definitely keeping an eye on this one.

These are the games that caught my eye during the Summer Game Fest Presentation. A lot of games were shown, but it would take forever to talk about them all. I’ll be back soon for another list of games, so until then, stay safe.

Sincerely Yours,
